Forward Luke Greiner Joins Stingrays

The South Carolina Stingrays and Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Spencer Carbery announced today that the team received forward Luke Greiner on loan from the Mississippi Surge of the Southern Professional Hockey Leauge (SPHL). 

Greiner, 23, dressed in nine games with the Surge scoring three goals and five assists for eight points after the starting the season in training camp with the Bakersfield Condors (ECHL). Last season, Greiner skated in one game with the Greenville Road Warriors (ECHL) after completing a four-year collegiate career at Harvard University alongside Stingrays defensemen Ryan Grimshaw and Brendan Rempel. With the Crimson, the 5-foot-10, 187-pound forward totaled 43 points (21 goals, 22 assists) in 123 contests. 

The Stingrays kick off a home-and-home series against the Gwinnett Gladiators on Friday, December 20 at 7:05 at The Arena at Gwinnett Center and host the Gladiators Saturday, December 21 at 7:05 at the North Charleston Coliseum! Celebrate the Holidays with the Stingrays!
