Family of 5-year-old cancer survivor thankful for Riley this holiday season

A little girl and her family are thankful to be together and healthy this holiday season.

Reagan Hopf, from Ireland, Indiana, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in June of 2012.

She spent months at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis going through four long rounds of treatment.

Reagan was able to come home before Thanksgiving last year and her parents say this year has been a good one, with no hospital stays. They are praising the care their daughter received at Riley.

"They really treated the kids like they wanted to be there, not like this was their job," Reagan's mom, Lisa Hopf said.

"Riley staff in general, I can never say anything bad about them. They saved her life," added Adam Hopf, Reagan's dad.
