Two charged after meth lab found in Rock Hill

Officials in York County say clean-up is underway after investigators busted the largest meth lab they've ever found in the area.

According to investigators, officers with the York County Multijurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit went to a home along the 1200-block of Dunlap Roddey Road around noon on Thursday.

They found an inactive methamphetamine lab in a storage building behind the residence. 

According to investigators, Brantie Britt, who is on probation for methamphetamine charges, was arrested along with his girlfriend, Jennifer Wheeler, on several drug charges. 

York County Emergency Management responded, along with the Hazmat Clean-up crew.

Investigators say there was a large amount of clean-up required, more than any other lab so far in York County.  Recovered were 421 grams of liquid meth, 1/2 gram of powder meth .1 grams if ICE meth, .7 grams of Heroin, Black tar. and 9.5 clonazepam pills and a 380 pistol.

Brantie was charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine 2nd, Manufacturing Methamphetamine 4th, Poss. Heroin W/Intent to Distribute 4th, Poss. Clonazepam 2nd and Poss. Firearm During Commission of Violent Crime.

Wheeler was charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine, Manufacturing Methamphetamine 2nd, Poss. Heroin W/Intent to Distribute and Poss. Clonazepam.
