Investigators find 22nd meth lab of year in Lincoln Co.

Lincoln County Sheriff's Office Narcotics investigators have seized their 22nd methamphetamine lab of 2013.

Investigators located the meth lab inside a mobile home in 1600 block of Knoll Drive in Vale around 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, according to a news release from the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office.

No one was injured and the meth lab is described as a "One Pot Method" lab.

The One-Pot or Shake and Bake Method has been described as possibly the most dangerous way of making meth because the chemical reaction inside the container used in the process causes an extremely high amount of pressure to build up after the container is shaken.

The state lab will be called in to clean up the residue from the meth lab.

Investigators arrested 20-year-old Carl Lloyd Almany, III, and charged him with one felony count of possess/distribute meth precursor. He is being held in jail without bond.

Anyone with information about any drug or criminal activity is asked to call the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office Drug Tip Line at 704-736-8606.

All tips received are investigated by the Narcotics investigators.
