It's no secret who the underdog is. In fact, Duke is about as underdog as you can get according to Vegas odds. But to head coach David Cutcliffe said in a press conference Friday morning, it's all about perspective.
"As long as it's not the guys on our team predicting that, that's the key. I don't think anybody on our team is putting us down as 29 point underdogs."
But Cutcliffe says the whole team is aware of the challenge they face against number one ranked, undefeated FSU. "What they see is the quality of the team on tape, so it's not unrealistic to say we have to play extremely well."
While FSU is coming in the much stronger favorite to take home the trophy tomorrow, Head coach Jimbo Fisher says they're not letting down their guard.
"Being number one like I said when you run a hundred meter dash, being number one at the 90 meter mark doesn't mean anything. We have to keep our form, stay true to form. And the way we practiced and prepared I think we will and be able to run through the finish line," Fisher said.
Duke is heading into tomorrow's championship with a 10 and 2 record.
