CATAWBA COUNTY, NC (WBTV) -

A man was arrested in Catawba County after deputies found what they say was a meth lab at his home.

According to the Catawba County Sheriff's Office, deputies located the lab Thursday at a home on the 1600 block of Maggie Street.

Narcotics investigators arrived at the scene and confirmed that the items were in fact a methamphetamine lab. A search warrant was then received, and the State Bureau of Investigation was contacted to assist with the clean up.

Kevin Matthew Cook, who lives at the home, was arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine. He was taken to the Catawba County Detention Facility with no bond.

Officials tell WBTV that the investigation is ongoing, and that future arrests are possible.
