The Alexander County Sheriff's Office has joined the search for a man wanted in connection with a recent home break-in which left one man shot in Rowan County recently.

Officers are looking for 23-year-old Khari Duane McClelland who authorities believe may have ties to the Alexander County and surrounding areas, according to a news release from the Alexander Co. Sheriff's Office.
