WASHINGTON, DC (WECT) – The Senate Majority PAC group has launched a second ad campaign supporting Senator Kay Hagan in her bid for re-election.

The  30-second ad on YouTube does not yet appear on the Senate Majority PAC website.  With a listed title of "Count On", it touts Hagan's work on behalf of seniors and others on issues such as prescription drugs, pre-existing conditions and Medicare waste. The second-half of the ad also criticizes Thom Tillis, the current NC House Speaker and potential opponent for Hagan in the 2014 election, saying Tillis "sides with insurance companies" among other allegations.

Reports say Senate Majority PAC  is spending $750,000 in a statewide ad campaign. Although the group did contact at least two TV stations in the Wilmington market, the new ad is not running at this time.

Senate Majority PAC launched an ad campaign in November supporting Hagan, to debunk what the group called "false attacks" in a previous political ad by Americans for Prosperity.
