WEATHER ALERT: It's freezing outside!

I passed a temperature reading on the way to work this morning that said 23 degrees! BRRR! Make sure you're bundled up before you head out the door this morning. Meteorologist Al Conklin is also watching a storm system that could impact you this week if you're traveling for the holidays. Tune in to his forecast every 7 minutes.

Another critic of Union County DSS is coming forward. That's the agency who fired one of its supervisors who was accused of leaving her foster child handcuffed on the porch with a chicken tied around his neck. We'll tell you what the mayor of Indian Trail wants county commissioners to now consider in the cases that suspect Wanda Larson handled.

The cut to SNAP benefits has a lot of you talking the last several days. We have another story about how cuts are now impacting local food banks.
