CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - The red-hot Carolina Panthers are catching the eyes of NFL schedule makers.
The league announced Sunday night the December 8th game between the Panthers and New Orleans Saints will be moved from 1:00 p.m. on FOX to 8:30 p.m., Sunday Night Football on NBC. The flex scheduling move will allow the NFC South teams to swap slots with the Atlanta Falcons and Green Bay Packers, originally slated to play in the Sunday night game.
The announcement was made just hours after the Panthers won a seventh game in a row, defeating the Dolphins in Miami, 20-16. Cam Newton connected with tight end Greg Olson for the winning touchdown with under a minute to go to clinch the victory.
