Archery team raises money to cover boy's funeral killed in double-murder suicide

MEADE COUNTY, KY (WAVE) - The community is raising money for the family of a 13-year-old boy who was killed in a double-murder suicide.

Tucker Wimpee died November 15 along with his mother Ellen Cain after her live-in boyfriend, Warren Earl Tripp, shot the family and then himself.

Wimpee was a member of Flaherty Archers - a target archery team part of Meade County's school curriculum.

Flaherty Archers is teaming up with Wimpee's family to raise money part of a bow raffle and T-shirt fundraiser.
