CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

The Carolina Panthers are set to take on the New England Patriots in Charlotte Monday night.

New England who is 7 and 2 is coming off a dominating 55-31 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

While Carolina who is 6 and 3 nabbed a huge win over the San Francisco 49ers on the road.
Carolina's win over San Francisco wasn't quite as exciting, but the defensive performance was definitely a sight to see.

And one of the much talked about players is Thomas Davis.

After nine years in the league and three ACL surgeries, Davis is still making hits.

With past injuries he overcame great odds… to have one of his best seasons yet.

Although Thomas has come a long way in nine years, there is still a lot of preparation that needs to be done to take on a team like the Patriots.

WBVT's Astrid Martinez went behind the scenes with linebacker Davis on his contribution to the win and how far he's come with the Panthers.
