Man steals elderly woman's cash at Horseshoe Casino

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Authorities are attempting to identify a man accused of stealing from an elderly woman withdrawing cash at Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati.

Ohio Gaming Commission Agents say an elderly female at Horseshoe Casino was attempting to withdraw money from a casino ATM on Nov. 13 just before 2 p.m. Her money was dispensed, but due to being in a wheelchair, authorities said she couldn't see the screen and did not recognize that her money had come out.

Agents say a light-skinned black male was standing at another ATM next to hers. The woman asked for help several times and backed away from the machine. That's when authorities say the suspect moved in front of her ATM and took the $500.

He then ran out of the casino towards Reading Road.

The suspect was described as approximately 6'2" tall wearing a white fur coat with brown spots or streaks and khaki pants.

Anyone who can identify this suspect should call Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040.  All calls are anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
