OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) -

We have more details on a story we first uncovered a few days ago involving allegations of rape, sodomy and sex abuse of two female teens in an Opelika foster home.

Kenneth Robinson, was arrested on June 5 for the crimes. Police say Robinson is the son of the victim's foster care mother and was living with them when the abused is reported to have happened last year.

The State Department of Human Resources tells us Robinson's mother is no longer a foster care parent and has not had foster children in her home since May of this year, shortly before her son's arrest.

She had been a foster parent since July of 2005 and over the years had 31 foster children in her home.  Opelika police and a spokesperson for Alabama DHR says they routinely interview all children that may have had contact with a suspected abuser.

Meanwhile, Robinson faces first degree rape, sodomy and sex abuse. He is out on bond, awaiting court proceedings.
