Shooting At Abandoned Property In East Charlotte

The death toll following last Friday's devastating typhoon in the eastern Philippines now stands at 1,744 people...and that is expected to go much higher.  We'll bring you the latest on relief efforts.

A 33-year-old north Charlotte woman is in jail this morning...charged in connection with the death of her six-month-old son.

Police on the campus of Appalachian State University in Boone is impersonating a police officer.

A vigil is planned tonight for the 17-year-old boy from Gastonia who was shot and killed over the weekend.

The parents of missing teenager Erica Parsons...will be in court today...looking to regain custody of their two youngest children.

Anticipation is growing over Monday night's game between the Carolina Panthers and the New England Patriots.  If you don't already have a prepared to pay a lot!  Fans are literally cashing in on the Panthers recent success.

Actor Alec Baldwin is expected to testify this morning in the New York City trial of a woman accused of stalking him.
