A 54-year-old man is facing murder and burglary charges in the 2009 death of an Eloy man.
The Pinal County Attorney's Office said Arturo Jimenez was arrested and charged for the Sept. 24, 2009 death of 92-year-old Norberto Castro. He's being held on a $750,000 bond.
Jimenez was arraigned on Friday on charges of first-degree premeditated murder and second-degree burglary. He was indicted by the Pinal County grand jury on Oct. 14.
The Pinal County deputy county attorneys and the Eloy Police Department worked over the last several months to reinitiate the cold case.
Jimenez has a pretrial conference scheduled for Dec. 2.
