Kroger looking to hire 1,200 employees

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The Cincinnati Division of Kroger kicked off their career fair series on Friday looking to hire roughly 1,200 new associates for the stores in both the Cincinnati and Dayton areas.

The career fair features open positions for all departments and all shifts with benefits, regular pay increases, flexible hours, advancement opportunities and a friendly work environment.

Interested applicants should apply online prior to attending: Kroger Careers.

Kroger career fair schedule over the next few weeks:

Holiday Inn Erlanger, 1717 Airport Exchange Blvd, Erlanger, KY

Friday, November 8: 10:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m.

Holiday Inn Dayton Fairborn, 2800 Presidential Drive, Fairborn, OH

Thursday, November 7: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Friday, November 8: 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.

    Mecklenburg County Manager Dena Diorio released her proposed $1.7 billion budget Tuesday morning before a packed chamber. It is $25 million more than last year’s budget.  It also includes a property tax increase of three-fourths of a cent. This means for a single family home worth $250,000, a homeowner will pay $18.75 more a year or $1.50 more a month.

    Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is searching for a missing 9-year-old. Police say Antoine Taylor was last seen in the area of the 2700 block of South Boulevard. Taylor is described as a black male, approximately 50 pounds, 4' 5" tall with a low haircut. He was last seen wearing glasses, a navy collared shirt, khaki pants and gray new balance sneakers with a white stripe.
