Investigators with bloodhounds search two properties owned by Erica Parsons adoptive grandfather

Good afternoon, Maureen O'Boyle here in the WBTV Newsroom.

Right now FBI and local investigators are on the China Grove property owned by William Parsons, the adoptive grandfather of missing teen Erica Parsons.  This is the second search today involving bloodhounds, deputies and the FBI.  Earlier this afternoon, investigators scoured the land surrounding the home where Erica lived in Salisbury.  Investigators probed the area where the above ground pool once stood, according to neighbors.

Erica Parsons was reported missing in July by her adoptive brother and since then we've discovered no one in her family has seen the teen for almost two years.  Erica would be 15 years old now.  We are committed to getting you the very latest on a case that has gripped our entire community.  Our David Whisenant is on scene.

The fiancee of the unarmed man shot and killed by a CMPD officer tells WBTV she wants police to release the dash cam video of the night Jonathan Ferrell was hit by 10 bullets as he tried to get help after crashing his car.  Cache Heidel wants to know why CMPD will not allow the release of that video.  Our Pamela Escobar is getting answers.
