For the Burgers: 1 Pound Ground Beef Salt and freshly ground black pepper 6oz Navel Pastrami, thinly sliced 4 Slices Swiss cheese, medium thick 4 Slices of Rye Bread, toasted
6oz Thousand Island Dressing
Build a charcoal fire or heat a gas grill. On a work surface, patty burgers and season burger liberally with salt and pepper. Grill the burger over high heat until medium rare, 3 to 5 minutes per side. Add two slices of Swiss cheese to each burger and cook until melted. Meanwhile, heat a large saute pan over medium heat. Mix pastrami and sauerkraut in pan until warm, set aside.
