SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Spartanburg church festival was the target of a burglar on Sunday night, police said.

According to a Spartanburg Police report, they were called out the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in reference to a larceny.

The report said, when a worker arrived at the Spartanburg Greek Festival a Coleman gas grill that belonged to the Freeman Gas Company and a doughnut machine, which belonged to the church, had been stolen.

Police say the cover for the grill was left at the scene, it was dusted for prints but nothing was found on them due to grease on the cover.

Anyone with information is asked to call Spartanburg Police.
