IRMO, SC (WIS) -

The Irmo Police Department has made an arrest in an indecent exposure case.

Irmo Police Chief Brian Buck says officers identified and arrested 19-year-old Akintunde Warnock on Monday. He has been charged with indecent exposure.

A woman was walking to her vehicle September 12 in the 1100 block of Dutch Fork Road in a shopping center when she saw a man in a car performing an inappropriate act, police said.

The woman told police the man, who was later identified as Warnock, was touching himself and called out to her so she would turn and see him, police said.

The suspect was in a blue, newer model Nissan Sentra.

Akintunde is being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
