CMPD investigating sexual assault at motel, release photos of suspects

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department's sexual assault unit detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying the subjects in the photographs that accompany this story.

On September 9, 2013, at approximately 12:12 a.m., officers responded to the Microtel Inn on Queen City Drive in reference to a sexual assault and robbery call for service, according to the release from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. 

Upon arrival the victim stated that she had been sexually assaulted and robbed by three black male subjects while in her hotel room. 

The suspects then stole her rental vehicle that was parked in the parking lot of the hotel. 

The victim's vehicle has since been recovered.
