SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) -

The adoptive parents of missing teenager, Erica Parsons, will be meeting the Department of Social Services later this week about the custody of their two youngest children.

The children were taken from the Parsons when the investigation into the disappearance of Erica, 15, began in August.  The children have been staying with the mother of Casey Parsons.

Last week, Sandy Parsons told WBTV that his main goal was to have the young children returned to the home, but he feared that would not happen

"No judge in Rowan County will give me my kids back while this is going on, and people riding by death threats, stuff like that, it just brings out the weirdos," Parsons said.

Carlyle Sherrill, the attorney for Sandy and Casey Parsons, told WBTV that his clients would be attending to meeting with regards to the custody of the children.
