Deputies: Trio tied up homeowner, burglarized home

ROWAN COUNTY, NC (WBTV) -

The Rowan County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in identifying three people they say tied up a man while they robbed his home.

The incident happened early in the morning on Wednesday, September 4, at a home on Foster Road in Woodleaf.

Deputies said the victim answered his door, and two white males and a white female forced their way into the home.

They then tied up the victim and stole items from his home, the report states.

The trio is believed to have entered the BP Store on Jake Alexander Boulevard, where they were caught on surveillance video.

One of the males can be seen wearing a red and white shirt, and the female can be seen in a camouflage shirt.

They were driving an older, white 4-door car.
