NASCAR driver Ryan Newman on organization to help 9/11 veterans

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - When veterans return from the line of duty, it isn't always easy to ease back into everyday life.

That's where Hope for the Warriors comes in.

According to the organization's website, the mission is to improve quality of life for "post-9/11 service members, their families, and families of the fallen who have sustained physical and psychological wounds in the line of duty."

NASCAR driver Ryan Newman spoke to Kristen on WBTV News Saturday morning about the organization, his connection to it, and the rest of the racing season.
