The votes are in and there are no new teams that cracked the FFN Top 10 driven by Town and Country Ford, but the order is drastically different.
Those changes don't happen at the top of the poll where Northwestern remains #1 and Mallard Creek remains #2. The Trojans are a unanimous #1 as they received all the first place votes.
South Point would move up a spot to #3.
Independence would also slide up one to #4.
Charlotte Christian is up 2 spots to #5 after a 42-0 win over Hammond School to go to 2-0 on the season.
In spite of a loss to Mallard Creek last Friday, Butler remains the #6 team.
South Caldwell would move up a spot in the FFN Top 10 to #7.
Charlotte Catholic would drop 5 spots in this week's poll as they went from #3 to #8. The Cougars lost to #1 Northwestern 38-17 and continue a murderous non conference schedule this week at they are at Country Day. They follow that with a game versus Mallard Creek next Friday.
Burns and Davidson Day stay at #9 and #10 respectively to round out the Top 10. Burns has a stern test this Friday as they are at 2-0 Freedom. A Patriots team that is averaging 47 points per game while the defense is only giving up 3 points per game.
Here is the complete poll
2. Mallard Creek
3. South Point
5. Charlotte Christian
7. South Caldwell
8. Charlotte Catholic
10. Davidson Day
Other teams receiving votes include West Meck, Richmond Senior, Hough, South Pointe, and York.
