Deputies: Bail bondsman, 2 others arrested on drug charges

LINCOLN COUNTY, NC (WBTV) -

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team raided three locations early Thursday morning leading to three arrests on drug charges, including a bail bondsman, according to officials.

Following a 5 a.m. briefing, the SWAT team executed search warrants at locations on Maiden Highway and Turner Street in Lincolnton, and Nora Drive in Iron Station.

The search warrants were served without incident, and three people were taken into custody by 6:30 a.m. Catawba County Sheriff's Office narcotics investigators assisted with the search of all three homes.

Jordan Ray Vanzandt, 21, was arrested and charged with one felony count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver marijuana and one misdemeanor count each of simple possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Antoine Depray Jackson, 42, was arrested and charged with one felony count each of possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture marijuana, possession of marijuana in excess of a half ounce, and maintaining a dwelling/vehicle for a controlled substance. He was also charged with one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Alvaro Iriarte, Jr., 40, who is a bail bondsman in Lincoln County, was also arrested. He was charged with one felony count each of possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a controlled substance schedule II and maintaining a dwelling/vehicle for a controlled substance. He was also charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Narcotics Division Lt. Jason Reid said all three searches stemmed from tips from the community.
