Horry Co.'s Most Wanted includes men charged with violent crimes

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Horry County's Most Wanted list contains men and women wanted for a large variety of crimes - from violent offenses like assault and battery to non-violent ones like failure to pay child support.

But crimes have victims, and the Horry County Sheriff's Office works hard each day to bring the thousands of wanted suspects to justice. Now there looking for two more men that you may be able to help them locate.

The Horry County Sheriff's Office Warrant Division is currently on the hunt for 44-year-old Timothy Bowens for his failure to stop for blue lights, reckless driving, driving under suspension, following too closely, and third degree assault and battery.

Bowens is a black male standing 5'5" tall, weighing 185 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last known to live on Harris Landing Road in Georgetown. He was last seen in the Conway area.

Johnny Craig Martin, last known to live on Fred Road in Aynor, is 51-year-old white man standing 6'1" tall and weighing 195 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Martin is wanted for stalking, second degree burglary, and breach of trust.

    The remains of a Rowan County soldier who vanished during World War II have been found and are being brought home this week for burial in his hometown of Gold Hill, 60 miles northeast of Charlotte.
