Wine offered at Great American Ball Park

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Fans can now enjoy a nice chardonnay or merlot while cheering on the Reds at Great American Ball Park, thanks to Joe Morgan who will be recognized at the stadium.

The Hall of Famer will have a statue created to honor his legacy, which will be dedicated outside of the ballpark on September 7.

Morgan appeared on FOX19 to discuss the dedication and a new business venture that will benefit wine-lovers at the Great American Ball Park.

Morgan has partnered with Steelhead Vineyards of Sonoma, CA, to offer the wines in a revolutionary new all-in-one bottle and glass format.

The innovative design features PET (plastic) bottle technology that preserves wine quality.

The unique combination of a plastic bottle and drinking vessel was developed in New Zealand and Morgan owns the rights for distribution in the United States.

The wines sell for $10 (250 mL) and are available at concession stands and from vendors around the ballpark.
