ROCK HILL, S.C. (WBTV) -

The York County Sheriff's Office tells WBTV the search for a missing Rock Hill woman that was suspended will resume once the weather clears in Randolph County.

Susan Diane Peterson was reported missing from her home on Cannon Drive in Rock Hill.

Deputies say the last contact anyone had with Peterson was around 7 a.m. August 14. Her brother says she was headed to Charlotte to donate plasma.

Peterson was last seen driving a white 2009 Ford Ranger pick-up truck.

On August 16, deputies said the truck was located in Randolph County in a wooded area on Pisgah Covered Bridge Road, near the town of Asheboro.

On Monday, deputies suspended the search, but say that once weather clears Randolph County authorities will continue an aerial search of the area where the truck was found.

Deputies say Peterson is a 59-year-old white female. She is 5'2" and weighs about 135 pounds.

If you have any information that could help this investigation, please contact the York County Sheriff's Office at 803-628-3059 or call Crime Stoppers of York County at 1-877-409-4321.
