Chester Cyclones ready for 2013 season

Charlotte, NC (WBTV)- The Chester Cyclones are looking to continue momentum from 2012. Last year, Coach Anthony Sterling's team surprisingly won the region 3-3A title. They finished 8-5 after making it to the 3rd round of the playoffs.

This team could be even better with six starters back on offense including QB Tommy Sanders. Tommy is a D-1 prospect and will benefit from a line that includes big Dakeavis Wilmore.

Also benefiting from that massive line will be RB Lorenzo White.

The defense has 7 starters back including the return of leading tackler Daryl Foster who had 200 tackles last year.

The success of last season has certainly made this team even hungrier and believing they can accomplish big things. Definitely a 3A team to watch in South Carolina.
