CMPD asks for public's help in identifying armed robbery suspects

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department needs your help in identifying two suspects in an armed robbery case that happened in the parking lot of a Marathon gas station.

CMPD says two suspects approached the victim in the gas station parking lot on N. Tryon Street and tried to rob the victim around 1:00 a.m. on Friday.

The victim was shot and the suspects fled the scene in a four door gold colored vehicle.

The victim is expected to be okay according to police.

CMPD describes the first suspect as a thin male, around 20 years old, and was last scene wearing a white t-shirt and camouflage shorts.

Police describes the second suspect as a male, around 20 years old, who was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and black pants.
