"Homeland" season 3 trailer released, one of our own makes appearance

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

The cast and crew of the Emmy Award winning Showtime drama Homeland, which is shot in Charlotte, have been spotted in and around the Queen City for weeks now as they prepare Season 3.

Now, we get our first look at what they've been doing with the release of the Homeland Season 3 trailer.

For a brief second we get proof that our own Jamie Boll will appear in an episode of Homeland.

Jamie spent a day on the set recently, playing the role of reporter Mel Wooten.

If you watch the trailer closely, you'll see Jamie in a scene with some of the stars of the show.

The new season of Homeland premiers on September 29th.
