More Rain Forecast; Man Shot In Attempted Robbery

The big question about the rain...how much impact is it going to have on the area...will it cause more flooding in areas already hit hard by flooding?  Cam Man Ron Lee will be reporting live on that aspect of the story.

Police are looking for a shooter right now after a man was shot during an attempted armed robbery in north Charlotte.  It happened late last night at the Shell gas station near Reagan Drive.  The victim is in serious condition.

Traffic issues along Carowinds Boulevard in south Charlotte this morning! The 14000 block is closed. The problem was caused by a water main break on Monday.  Crews had hoped to have the road open by yesterday morning, but haven't been able to complete their work.  We'll have alternate routes...and any other traffic problems...from the First Alert Traffic Center.

The woman accused of killing former York mayor Melvin Roberts will be in court today.

A sentencing hearing begins today for U.S. soldier Bradley Manning, who's been convicted of espionage and a host of other charges for giving secrets to WikiLeaks.

The Charlotte Bobcats have announced they've re-signed shooting guard Gerald Henderson.  A person familiar with the situation had said the deal is worth $18 million over three seasons with a player option for the third season.
