TOLEDO, OR (KPTV) -
A Toledo woman accused of repeatedly calling 911 over a nine-hour span with no real emergency ended up in jail.
Lincoln County deputies said it all started at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. Investigators said Dorothy Wagner, 63, called 911, but hung up prior to dispatchers obtaining her information.
A deputy called Wagner back and said she was requesting police help for a civil issue. The deputy said Wagner was provided instructions on obtaining a restraining order.
Investigators said after that, she called 911 several more times throughout the night and into the morning without having an emergency to report. She was warned about improper use of the emergency reporting system, according to deputies.
At 2:53 a.m. Sunday, investigators said Wagner again called 911 and it was again determined she did not have an emergency. A deputy then went to her home on the 4000 block of Sams Creek Road and placed Wagner under arrest. She was booked in the Lincoln County Jail with bail set at $15,000.
