Police: Boy grazed by bullet near Uptown Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say a boy is recovering after being grazed in the leg by a bullet.

MEDIC described the boy's injury as non-life threatening after he was taken to a hospital Sunday afternoon.

Officers tell WBTV a bullet was fired on North Pine Street around 1 p.m. but it is not yet clear where it came from. Investigators interviewed witnesses in hopes of tracking down a culprit.
