A man has been arrested after Phoenix police say he admitted to killing another man.
Officers arrested the 26-year-old suspect at an apartment complex near 27th Avenue and Bethany Home Road.
They found the victim severely beaten and possibly stabbed inside the bedroom of an apartment. He died at the scene.
The victim has been identified as 52-year-old Edward Vigil.
The suspect was taken into custody and during a police interview, admitted to his involvement in the incident. He was booked into the Maricopa County Jail on a charge of second-degree murder.
It's unclear at this point what sparked the fight between Vigil and the suspect.
