Fifty veterans were honored on Friday during a patriotic pinning ceremony.
The event was by held at Sycamore Senior Center and presented by Crossroads Hospice. It was led by Crossroads Hospice's Paul Burden, a chaplain in the Air National Guard, and
Colonel Jim Ferrando, retired U.S. Army.
Veterans will received military pins, coins and certificates in moving recognitions as a bugler in
traditional Civil War attire performs in their honor. The ceremony was part of Crossroads Hospice's Veterans Recognition
Campaign acknowledging veteran patients and veterans in the community with
ceremonies of appreciation.
