NEW: A tragic accident on Lake Norman to tell you about. A nine-year-old was killed while on a jet ski on Lake Norman. He was on the jet ski while it was operating and we're finding out the oldest person with him was 15-year-old. Police say there were also no adults around. We'll tell you what happened that caused the boy's death. Cam Man Ron Lee will be live with the details.
RIGHT NOW: An amber alert has been issued for an 16-month-old boy. Police believe the man he's with right now strangled the child's mother. We'll have a description of the suspect and the young boy.
Also, police are refuting claims being made by the mother of a teenager shot and killed in the undercover drug buy in Charlotte this week. Meanwhile a vigil was held for the 17-year-old and the other teen suspect has since faced a judge.
