Man arrested after police find crack cocaine in Lenoir home

LENOIR, NC (WBTV) -

A Lenoir man is charged with several drug crimes after police found several illegal drugs at his home.

Jonathan Deontate Parrish, 25, of Lenoir, is charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and distribute a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, trafficking opium, manufacturing cocaine and maintaining a dwelling for storage of a controlled substance, according to the news release from the Lenoir Police Department.

After a number of undercover drug purchases, officers executed a search warrant at a home on the 400 block of Arlington Circle on Tuesday at 12:48 p.m.

Parrish was taken into custody without incident after the search led to the recovery and seizure of .8 grams of crack cocaine and 11 dosage units of Oxycodone from his person and residence. 

Parrish was charged with one count each of the four felony crimes listed above and placed in the Caldwell County detention center under a $100,000 secure bond.
