We are live from east Charlotte this morning...Cam Man Ron Lee is gathering details right now after a man's body was found in a car at an apartment complex.  Right now the case is being called a death investigation.

A tax hike is coming for property owners in Charlotte.  Charlotte City Council has approved an $816 million budget that includes a 7.25% property tax increase.  That means the owner of a $200,000 home will pay an additional $63.36 in taxes per year.

Four people are in the hospital right now after being hurt in a crash in Charlotte's Ballantyne area.  Police say the driver of a vehicle lost control near the corner of Marvin and Johnston Roads late last night.

Authorities say a portion of four-story building in India's financial capital has collapsed in heavy monsoon rains, killing at least five people.  A national disaster official says rescuers are using sensors and life detectors to find five people still feared trapped in the debris of the building in the Sion area of Mumbai. Another six people were injured when the building caved in Monday night.

A reporter for the Charlotte Observer is among more than 80 people arrested in the latest rally organized by the NAACP at the state capitol in Raleigh.

We will learn the name of the brand new football stadium on the campus of UNC Charlotte later this morning.  The school's chancellor, athletic director and team coach Brad Lambert are holding a news conference at 11:30...and it's open to the public.

And the threat of bad weather in the Chapel Hill area caused the postponement of the NCAA super regionals baseball game between the UNC Tar Heels and the South Carolina Gamecocks!  The game will now be played at noon today!  The winner will move on to the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska!
