Police trying to ID duo who robbed store at gunpoint


The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department's Armed Robbery Unit is asking for the public's assistance in identifying two men involved in a weekend armed robbery.

On Saturday, June 8, around 2:15 p.m., officers were dispatched to an armed robbery call for service at the Express Mart on E. Arrowood Road. The duo fired their weapons inside of the business but no one was injured, police said. 

The first robber is described as a black male, approximately 21 years old, 5'8", 140 lbs., with a small, thin build. He was wearing a blue long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, black ball cap, and sun glasses.

The second man is approximately 25 years of age, 6', 190 lbs., with a large build. He was wearing black long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, sun glasses, and a black "NY" ball cap.
