WEATHER ALERT: Flood warning for Mecklenburg and Cabarrus County until 7:00 a.m.

Hello! It's Christine Nelson from the WBTV Newsroom. Our First Alert Weather Team has been telling you all week about the rainfall that is going to hit us today. We're on the air live until 7:00 a.m. to help get you through the morning.

We have multiple reporters on location. WBTV Cam Man Ron Lee has been traveling the roadways while you were sleeping to see where the problems spots are. He didn't have to go far to find one local park is closed due to flooding. WBTV's Brody O'Connell and our producers have been watching lake levels as well, especially in the communities that were hit hard by flooding last week. Brody will have multiple live updates on where lake levels stand.

Tropical Storm Andrea has been a big rainmaker so far for the southern states. She even caused tornadoes in Florida! We'll show you video from there.

LIVE: We also have access to live pictures from near the coast of North Carolina and from South Carolina, courtesy of our Raycom sister stations. We'll show you what they're getting hit with at this hour.
