(RNN) - A deadly tornado ripped through Moore, OK, killing 24 people.

The EF-5 tornado had wind speeds of more than 200 mph and was roughly two miles wide. Among the dead were children who took shelter inside an elementary school.

The FBI said they shot and killed triple murder suspect Ibragim Todashev after he allegedly lunged at agents with a knife. Authorities said he confessed to a 2011 triple murder in Boston and that he told agents deceased Boston bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev was involved.

A British soldier was murdered in broad daylight in what officials are calling a terrorist attack. Two suspects remain hospitalized after police shot them in self-defense.
