Kidd-Gilchrist named to NBA all rookie 2nd team


Charlotte Bobcat Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was named to the NBA All Rookie 2nd team by the coaches.  He is the 6th Bobcat to claim the honor. 

He joins Emeka Okafor, Raymond Felton, Walter Herrmann, Adam Morrison, and D.J. Augustin as Bobcats to make the NBA All Rookie Team.

MKG played in 78 games this season with 77 starts.  He averaged 9 points and 5 rebounds on the year while averaging 26 minutes per game.

The 2nd team consists of MKG, Detroit's Andre Drummond and Kyle Singler, Toronto's Jonas Valanciunas, and Cleveland's Tyler Zeller.

The 1st team is made up of Washington's Bradley Beal, New Orleans' Anthony Davis, Cleveland's Dion Waiters, Golden State's Harrison Barnes, and Portland's Damian Lillard who is also the NBA's Rookie of the Year.
