Cam Man Ron Lee joins us live this morning with details of an investigation going on in Stanly County right now.  A body was found in the basement of a home in Albemarle...investigators suspect foul play.

Angelina Jolie says she's had a preventive double mastectomy. The 37-year-old actress says in an op-ed for today's New York Times that she had the mastectomy after learning she carried a gene that makes it extremely likely she'll get breast cancer.

The mother of a three-year-old girl who was the subject of an Amber Alert is facing charges this morning that she lied to investigators.  Turns out that the man who allegedly "abducted" the little girl was actually her father.  No charges are being filed against the father.

A family of five is being helped by the Red Cross after their apartment was damaged by a fire.

Firefighters say a woman and her four children escaped their second-floor unit in Charlotte's University area.  It happened at Robinsondale Apartments on Margie Ann Drive.
