The Atlantic Coast Conference has announced the dates, networks and game times for its 2013 Football Bowl Games, including Charlotte's Belk Bowl.
The Belk Bowl will have the fourth selection of an ACC team after the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) and will be played this year on December 28 at 3:20 p.m.
The game, which is being held on a Saturday this year, will be televised by ESPN.
The game will feature an opponent from the American Athletic Conference.
This is where some of you may say... who?
The American Athletic Conference is the new name for the former Big East Conference. The conference announced the decision last month after university presidents approved the new name.
The newly-formed, newly-named conference will start the 2013 season with Cincinnati (who won last season's Belk Bowl over Duke), Connecticut, Houston, Louisville (who is moving to the ACC in 2014), Memphis, Rutgers (who is moving to the Big Ten in 2014), SMU, South Florida, Temple and UCF.
East Carolina, Tulane and Tulsa will join the conference in 2014. Navy will join in 2015 - for football only.
