Fog In The Area; Harris Boulevard Water Main Repair Underway

There is a thick fog in some areas this morning!  Be sure to watch Al Conklin's First Alert Weather forecast for details.  Highs are expected to reach into the mid-70s today...a cloudy start to the day...but we should see sunshine later on.

Cam Man Ron Lee will join us live from along Harris Boulevard in east Charlotte...where work is underway right now to repair a 12-inch water main.  The road has been shut down in both directions...100 customers have had little or no water for almost a day now.

We have more reaction to President Obama's nomination of Charlotte Mayor Anthony Fox to be Secretary of Transportation...as well as what happens if the Mayor's nomination is confirmed and he leaves Charlotte.  We have a list of possible mayoral replacements.

North Carolina's attorney general has filed a motion to get Duke Energy to lower its rates...and save you some money on your utility bill.
