SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) -

It may not be the first place you would think to look, but for a Salisbury man, even his very intimate hiding place wasn't remote enough to fool law enforcement officers.

Edward Morrow, 34, was pulled over in a traffic stop late Thursday night.  Police noticed that a headlight was out on his car, and that he drove through a stop sign.

When police approached the car the officers noted a strong smell of marijuana.  A small bag containing six small "rocks" of crack cocaine was found in a right front pocket of Morrow's pants.

Morrow as taken to the magistrate's office and charged with possession of cocaine.  When asked if he was carrying any additional drugs, Morrow said that he was not.

Once at the jail, Morrow was searched again, and officers found 5.9 grams of cocaine worth and estimated $500 in a small bag in Morrow's rectum.
