Vice President Joe Biden and Arizona Sen. John McCain will be in Sedona on Friday to talk about how to promote democracy and freedom.
The forum is part of the McCain Institute for International Leadership at Arizona state University.
Biden and McCain will speak during the opening dinner of the annual forum, which isn't open to the public.
ASU President Michael Crow says the discussion should be thought-provoking.
McCain says Biden has a unique perspective on the United States' role in the world because of his experience in the Senate and as vice president.
